Is it just me or is the website for downloading the beta version of Plus for MSN 7 not working at the moment?  If it's working for other people, could someone perhaps explain why it's not working for me?

It may be a problem with your ISP, or the server may be overloaded or something, I'm sure the site will be back up soon though. Just wait, it won't take long to be honest .

It still isn't working.  Is anyone else having this problem?  If not, why can't I access the site?

There is no real web site for downloading the Messenger Plus! 3.40 beta, it's simply another thread on these forums: MsgPlus! for Messenger 7 - 3.40.112 BETA. You should be able to access it, since you can access this thread

The download link in the first post directs you to the installer located on a different location; however, that link should work as well.

The problem I have is that the download link doesn't work, at least not for me it would seem.  I have no problem accessing the page that the link is on.  Any idea what could be wrong?

No, it doesn't work.  It just says page cannot be displayed.

try right clicking on that link and chosing save target as

That didn't work either.  A box came up saying a connection to the server could not be established. 

My firewall is turned off by the way.

Im Using DAP 7 (download accelerator plus 7) and itz workin for me. I've Got Win Xp sp2 and ie 6 And its also downloadin without dap 7 ie by windows's downloader.
Ps:- I tried only the link given by Matty. It worked for me.

Typical, the DAP site isn't working!  But I'm getting it from elsewhere now.

Does anybody know why it is my computer can't seem to access the file?  I'm using IE 6 and my ISP is BTOpenworld.

Well, thanks to DAP I was able to download it. 

BUT -

When I try running the programme, an error box comes up saying "MsgPlus-340Beta.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

According to DAP, the size of the file is "0 bytes"!

"The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOSS and Microsoft Windows applications.  Choose "Close" to terminate the application.

Cheers but that didn't seem to work either!  I just don't understand why I can't access it.
