Opening in Default Browser problems by bonafide11 on 12-18-2004 at 11:44 PM

Hi,

I am using Mozilla Firefox as my browser and I wanted email notifications to open in Firefox instead of IE. So I downloaded  and installed Stuffplug NG and enabled the option to open in default browser. But it doesn't work. It works when I right-click on the MSN icon and click on MSN Home but not for my inbox. I'm using the latest versions of Messenger Plus and MSN messenger and Firefox is set as my default browser. Does anyone know what's wrong or is there another way to do this? Any help would be appreciated!

Carol

It works perfectly for me. Are you sure firefox is set as the default browser?

I'm sure that Firefox is set as my default browser. I've checked several times under Firefox's Options. I'm using Windows ME, not XP.  It works when I click MSN Home, just not My Email Inbox or when I click the notifications.  Thanks.

Make sure firefox is associated with .htm and .html files...
