Heres a screen shot...doesn't it have somthing to do with msg plus functionality to put names in nicks(im using 7 beta 
)...

Somewhere Msg Plus! or some over program/plus! plug-in that messes with nicks have put an 
there for some reason. It could be a bug or a simple colour/text command but I don't personally know.

No that's Messenger itself that puts the emoticon in there. As (a) is the shortcut for the angel is displayed even if it makes no sense...maybe they should change the shortcut in the portugese version when they have to use (a) in some words.
That seems to be a little glitch in MSN Messenger.
They probably didn't add something like the [noparse] command to these "blah can't reply because you've blocked him/her" messages..
