StuffPlug NG2 by kangie on 12-19-2004 at 08:20 PM

Just thought you might want to know about a few of the new features that are going to be in StuffPlugNG2 :P (which will not be released till around Feb next year)

- talking to people youve blocked
- boost message length to 5,000 chars :O
(and more!)

and for msn7 users, there are 3 totally new features, one of which, is hiding the advertisment in a conversation window :P

I dont wanna give the game away too much, but its gonna be (and is) GREAT!!!

(And no, NOTHING will make me give it to you, so dont even ask!!!)

Also, the new site, is a great improvent to the old one!!! No screenies allowed of it tho :(
And i shall post screenies of the actual Stuffplug in a few days...

Yes, I know the old beta used to have 10.000 characters, but messages of 10.000 characters rarely ever reached their target, and there was just a too high risk messages got lost. There still is a way to adjust the limit yourself, but that will most likely be a reg-tweak

Yes, he changed it because "messages of 10.000 characters rarely ever reached their target, and there was just a too high risk messages got lost. There still is a way to adjust the limit yourself, but that will most likely be a reg-tweak :)"
And, for more info, the Stuffplug-NG 2 blog :P
Too bad that some great features wont be included anymore :'(

Yes it will work with MSN Messenger 7 Beta.
There is already a version for MSN Messenger 7 at www.stuffplug.com/SPNGMSN7.zip

Would we still be able to use the current 7 Beta version of StuffPlug-NG while we use StuffPlug-NG 2? That way we can still retain some of the soontobelost features?

In messenger 7 you can right click on an emoticon and select add, to steal it.
RE: StuffPlug NG2 by Eljay on 12-20-2004 at 06:28 PM

DP Stealer = Print Screen button
CE stealer = right click emo ->  Add ;)

but remember that this is not the only CE/DP stealer there is so hopefully there will be other people willing to try and make one thats MSN7 compatible (A)

The print screen button isn't always very good, because you lose the corners of the pictures usually....

I'm sure other people will make ce/dp stealers, whether there is a 3rd one that was made, I'm unsure of, but if there is, I hope it won't be full of adware and stuff... which there is a possibility of, there are lots of willing programmers that would probably make one to be honest....

I think that it was a good move for TB to get rid of it, it wasn't very reliable.

As I said somewhere already, also in MSN 7 you can basicly steal your contact's DPs by searching your computer for *.bin files and then copy the ones that are found to be in your Temporary Internet Files. Then rename them to .png and voila, there they are (and the CEs too).
But TB didn't use that way, he cached them directly from the contacts and that's why he could list them by the emails (i think).

But as I'm just too lazy to do this manually, the DP stealer was a feature I liked alot
