Me and a friend are planning on creating a small record label, (were not planning on making pop hits that millions of 9 year olds will buy) and we want someone to make a logo for us.

The name of the company is Battlefish, the creator of the logo will get full credit, and I will be very greatful.

The person who makes the best logo, as decided by me and my friend wins a prize, they get the choice between

• any (available) .com domain paid for one year (you will need to provide me with the nameservers and other details)
  
• any (available) .uk domain paid for two years (co.uk/org.uk/me.uk etc..., you will need to provide me with the nameservers and other details)
  
• £5 (via PayPal)

i can do that for u but traxor or blade really gve it better...working on it...wich colors would ya like?=)

I'll get started on the logo now, for any body who is also making the logo, saral preferably wants a fish yielding weaponry of some sort .

i suck n grafix...here's my choice..it only says batlefish records...i had a vinil image and so on..but i have no skills at fireworks

I dunno how to make such pics or i would have. But i do have an idea for someone who can.
Why doesn't someone make a pic with a fish holding a gun like a solider or a group of fishes standing in line and all of 'em holding guns like in the HBO special series "Band of Brothers®" and at the bottom you can write "Battlefish Records™"
Hows that ?? If you like this idea you can mak the pic. I know its really difficult if not nearly impossible (i think it'll take quite some time) to make this pic. If u're that good then try it.

ok, i was talking to my friend, and we were brainstorming rough ideas for a logo, and we came up with this rough idea...



that thing in the middle is meant to be a shark, i.e. looking at a shark from the front, then around it is meant to be a circle (not an oval) with the words battlefish records going round it, the circle is broken up by the fin of the shark.

i'll do it at night...gotta go to lisbon=)...

The reason is you cant have a real complex logo on the spine of a cd.

That is very agressive and quite bad to be honest, you want something a little less serious, it looks like something that you'd see on the front of a slipknot album.

that looks like a pretty good attempt, take away the background, and that line drawing style of pic is something i really like

Im making my better one now... 1st...

I had to redo the textures because my computer crashed when I wanted to save it...and I will redo them again because the dodgy .pspimage merged some of the layers..
This is how far I got, but i probably won't work on it today and tomorrow.

Rather crappy cuz I haven't got much experience in such image designing things
I have to change the background but I have no idea which i should use, then the eyes and the mouth aren't finished either..

Keep on posting other logos, i'm sure there will be much better ones than mine
So who's giving it a try ? Guido maybe ?

Yours ar all great but i think this one rules(only for the work LOL...) i did the fish and the revolver at free hand mx and then hand painted it in firewroks n' tiped the letters..

Andrey, I think yours has potential, however if you dont have any textures it will look really cool. Im planning on making a plaque style thing out of perspex at school, so thats why i want it in blocks.

these are all very good, Traxors, urs is pretty good, AndreY - its a pity you havent done any more work on that sketch you did, i thaught it had some potential.

Because the forums were down for most of today, I am extending the competition deadline to Monday.

I think that its going to be a tough competition, I'm not submitting anymore, regardless of the quality of other users logos etc... we all deserve the equal chance to win, so I'm not going to post loads, cause if I do, then it will decrease the chance of the other competitors...

I just want to say good luck to everyone else who is competing and that I hope that you win as much as I hope that I win. .

saral, I think you should look for another type of logo. That circle is just non funcional.

I was thinking (and working also, but my computer crash) in some kinda of "medieval" fish, for your logo and the text in some.. modern and simple font.

What do I mean by "medieval fish", maybe some fish like the one that would appear in a coat of arms, like the Barbados coat of arms

saral personally i think you shouldn't pick the company's name allready...or smthng that didn't demand to be a fish...cause all this proposals are great but all of them have fishes and stuff...can't u think of a newer name...(i think you wont but that's my sugestion)

leito - i like it a lot, just make the fish a bit less pixelized and it will be there .
