MSN email problem by Mazzi on 12-22-2004 at 03:07 PM

First off I'm new here so hello to all.

I have a problem getting my emails , all I get is a blank page when trying to retrive my emails , no matter how I try to get onto hotmail it will always show a blank page.
I reregisterd all my DLL files and even did a msn repair.
I am on msn 6.2 with Messenger Plus
I will show you what comes up when I try to get emails.

If this has been posted already , sorry I couldnt not find it in the forums.

Any help would be great Thanks in advance !

Hi Mazzi, welcome to the forums. When you said "getting my emails" you mean, "open you e-mail inbox" from MSN Messenger? Can you access from hotmail.com?

I try the page you said, and it ask me to sign-in, everything ok, could you post a screenshot?

Hope we can help you with this more info.

i posted the same problem for myself here.

i can click on the "new message" link in msn messenger and a page opens, but it stays blank (a white page) that says it's "loading" but it doesn't fully load. Also, i can't go to the official msn hotmail site and sign in from there. the page shows up, but as soon as i type in my email/password.. it goes right to the loading page..

and i know it's not just that it's taking longer to load because i let it "try" to load for a full 45 minutes today and it's STILL didn't load.

jewelzsweet:

Thats exactly what I get also , I think it has something to do with AD-aware and MSN plus , but I can not be sure.

It cant be that netpassport or msn is down because if I sit there and try alot or go through a back door I can get in sometimes.
I have registered all my DLL files again and uninstalled msn plus and reinstalled , I also did a repair on MSN and still nothing.
I can not take a screen shot because its just a blank page.:|
I have always fixed anything with computers but this has me puzzled. I figure I would try and ask for help here do to the fact there are alot of people with good knowlege of computers.
Anyone have any ideas I might be missing please post. Thanks !

Recently more people have reported this. So it might as well be a glitch on their servers or something...

A screenshot wont tell you much (except that it will look blank). It would be better if you could post the source of the blank HTML page though. If it realy doesn't contain much, then it is indeed most probably a server problem.

You could report it:

Thanks for all the replys.
Ok I like to state first I tried everything to fix this problem and I mean everything.
The only thing that worked was a system restore , now it is working fine.
I still believe it happened do to ad-aware or a spyware tool , so If you are having this problem try and do a restore point.

my hotmail now opens.. i went on another computer and opened up hotmail maybe thats what triggered it or it could be the fact that i changed my details to another country (australia to be precise)
