hey all, I downloaded the ISO file for arch linux, i made it into a data disc and it says its suppose to run at start up but its not running on start up at all!!! :'( some one please help me

you need to configure your bios for it to load the cd drive before the hard disk. try pressing "delete" when your system boots up (that's usually the key to use, it might be different)

i tried and here is no option at all that realates to n e thing about CD boot up

Try repeatedly pressing F12 as the bios loads. A menu of boot choices should appear.

You should then get something like the "boot order". Simply put your cd rom first, then your hard disk.
