Is there a portuguese forum comunity?there's a thread or smthng saying the existing foruns but i can't find it...anyway...if it doesnt exist i'd like to start one..but i need help from portuguese guys...how can i see a list of portuguese users?(i only know paperless gonna pm him now..)what do i need to do a comunity?tks

there are 3 local community forums: Spanish, French and Dutch (will open soon).

For a community you will need ofcourse a host and the forumsoftware (like mybboard), a forum team with at least someone who knows a bit of php and forumsoftware. Starting a forum community takes a lot of time, it's not just installing the software on the server. For the local communities, the mybb software is translated by the forumteams and the team has to know a lot about Plus! too ofcourse.

that php part is the one that may f*** the idea LOl...dunno i'll try to find some guys...

I don't think there is one but there is http://msgplus.keystorm.net/ which is spanish i think but since i dont understand it i can't confirm it. I'm almost entirely sure though
It sayz "Comunidad Hispana Oficial" which i tried to google translate but sayz "Official Hispanic Community" which i can't understand.
I think it is spanish cause when i told google to translate the entire page it did translate most of it.

Well im potuguese but a protuguese community for msgplus i dont think would be used because there are few people who speak portuguese in here like what.. you and me?

Err well, THAT is the official french forum, and AFAIK is authorized by Patchou (he won't allow 5 different forums per language obviously). I'm not sure it has been launched though, but it's ridiculous to create a new one from scratch. Contact the current french forum managers and get into that project.

welll...there's obviouly a demand of help in portuguese..... since we have a lot of brazilian/portuguese people in the spanish irc channel asking for help.....

johny, you could join irc first... to the #msgplus.pt channel....build yourself a staff of good helpers and then think of creating a forum....

trust me...it takes a lot of time and work,.....

the prob is we havent a place to put the forum.. the max i can do is go to irc and bui,d it up coz a forum would be possible only on lycos
