like...i'm doing a new signature...and it has an hyperlink...i want it to go directly to an email message(mailto: putoalmeida@gmail.com) and to have a text allready written...how do i do the text thing?tks

This ?body= part of the link may not work in all browsers, it's not officially standarised. There's also ?subject= and such:
<a href="mailtoutoalmeida@gmail.com?subject=This is my subject&body=This is the lovely text I'd like to see in the body.">Link</a>
If it's for a signature on these forums:
[email=putoalmeida@gmail.com?subject=This is my subject&body=This is the lovely text I'd like to see in the body.]Link[/email]

didn't work...see it...(tried in firefox and internet explorer)...the messege is something like can't find the specified directory
...

i did control + c and control + v and then altered the text...no big thing i didn't ruin it for sure LOl

Did you try taking out the ?body part?
People can just write the message themselves.
