whenever i click on the messenger icon, 2 msn messenger windows open! and then it freezes for a while! then when i close the other window it freezes again! help?

Have you patched Messenger?...Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?

i removed the patch and it still happens!

Repair or reinstall MSN Messenger.
