I heard on call for help that you can use msn to take control of another pc like remote desktop.  Can I do this?...I have a friend that needs help.

I think Remote Assisatance uses Windows Messenger Technology, so.. maybe they talk about this.

no they opened MSN Messenger to do it but it didn't work but they were talking that it can work

Yes, you can use MSN Messenger if (only if) Windows Messenger is installed.

And your contact has to have Windows Messenger too.

Also note that both computers must be set to allow remote assist (start > controlpanel > system > connections).

If that is set and windows messenger is installed you can do a remote assist by going to (for MSN 7): tools > start activity > remotecontrol (in convowindow).
