im starting my a levels in september. im doing maths, physics, computing and business studies as well as general studies but that doesnt really count :) .
My computing course is mostly about programming with Visual Basic so can someone tell me where i can get Visual Basic.
ive looked on themicrosoft site and found this

You cannot get Visual Basic without paying for it. If it is College or University then it should be supplied for you. If its high school, they only have enough licences for their PCs and won't supply you with it.

Asking where to download software you need to pay for is illegal and against forum rules.

There was a free version (official, legal), but it doesn't let you compile your programs.

I think this version is out there, somewhere. But it's very old. :\ Can't remember the name, though.

you can download the Visual Basic 2005 Beta from here but this is VB.net which is a totally dffrent language

Last I checked, Microsoft discontinued distribution of said version.
