How do i set up my POP 3 email thingy, I'm using gmail but i have never tried to use pop 3, and now i want to and i dont know how
i know some bits of it the easy bits, but if someone knows how to set it up exactly so its works for gmail id be appreciative

Gmail currently does not work with Plus' POP3 feature as Plus! does not support SSL, sorry.

Gmail supports POP3 now, but it requires SSL. Plus! does not support SSL in current versions; the feature has been coded though and future versions should offer you the possibility.
You can use programs such as Gmail Notifier to be notified of new email in your Gmail account. You won't need Plus! for that anymore.
