It says you need an Ink thing..but I cant find it >.< can someone please post a link?

It is Ink Redistributables from Microsoft. I think you would be able to get it from www.microsoft.com.

You can install:
Ink redist
or
Windows Journal Viewer

I had the same problem. I got Windows Journal Viewer. It's sweet now

I downloaded that patch, and When I install it, it seems like it does nothing. There is a file in C:\WINDOWS|Prefetch...

hi i cant get the handwriting thing to work i did the ink thing and when i go into plus and then preferences n plugins it has the "handwrting enabled" thing ticked... yet its not coming up in da window... can sum1 plz tell me wat ive dun wrong??

I want to use the ink thing instead of Windows Journal Viewer, but I can't. When I click on the link, it doesn't work.

The link i gave will lead you to a page, on that page you see Ink redistributables after where it says "download:". Click that and save the file (inkredist.zip) to your computer. Go to the folder you saved it to, extract the file and run setup.exe.

i swear an all in one installer was made so u dint need ink redist and all that stuff sepereately..

No, sorry there is no way to run Handwriting on Windows 98 (SE).
It works on newer OS' (Windows XP / 2000 etc) but is NOT compatible with Windows 98.
