Whats the maximum frames a gif can have?

I think it's unlimited.

Some programs that deal with gif files might have their own limits, but the format itself allows unlimited frames.

I would also like to mention that I would like to convert video to gif or a bunch of iamges....how do I do this?

you would have to split the frames using something like windows movie maker?

256 colour may make video to animated gif look a bit rubbish in most cases....

there are programs that can do this for you.. google it im sure you will find something.. say wmv to gif or a similar query

Macromedia Flash will do it if nothing else :p

I'm sure there are some more appropriate, less expensive, movie-handling programs which do.

By the way, gif83, your signature is huge in download size, way over the limit.

If you can tell me how to do it Skin Ticket, or find a tutorial to do it on flash, then I'll happily do it for you... pm me the a video clip or something...

I have flash MX 2004..... But thanks n e wayz.
Edit: I tried it...but the video Apears to be pixelated....
Edit: Alrioht I got it to work good! bnut How do I resize the canvas?
