Board Style Headers - Printable Version

Hello, I've noticed that the Earth theme for this board does not show the Messenger Plus! header, it instead displays the default header of "MyBB". Someone might want to overwrite a file somewhere, if you don't have one that matches, I'd like to make a proposal, to make one; as I'm snowed in, going stir crazy, and not half bad at it.

But probly not, heh.

Thought I'd point this out, and as well as this, I love the boards. Very conscise looking, and the moderators seem almost voracious at thier task. Wow.

adam, just make it :)

post it on the board, and a admin will review it and will decide to include it or not :P hey you mite even get a credit on the board :)

It's a pre-made theme not made specifically for the Messenger Plus! forums. They're just there bcz some ppl prefer them. It's been like that for a very long time so I doubt they'll change it now :P

Yes, I know it's a pre-made theme. I think this is also pretty much a rip off of PHPBB's source, named as MyBB... strikingly similar.

I will make it, then. Take that, internet.

Okay, I am finished my little header, here. It's fairly simple, I justwhipped it up in five min. Tried to keep it discreet, plz tell me what you think [good or bad, anything is good to hear].

Size: Just under 9K [smaller than current header].

MyBB is better than phpBB in the fact that it doesnt have gaping security holes that lead to hundreds of servers going down.

Anyway the logo looks quite nice (y)

Yeah, I really meant no offense by that, just a passing thought.
I had no idea about those security holes [that much is evident]. Thanks for your opinion, as well.

It's not a rip-off of anyone's source. And it's much more like vBulletin than phpBB.

Anyway, the "Earth" theme completely sucks... I don't really care about it... :p

All the PHP based BB softwarez out there are very similar. There arent that many ways to do the exact same thing.

That's certainly true. It also makes sense that thier interfaces would be so similar; it doesn't make sense not to incorporate a feature your competition creates. The only ones I can really pick out right off the bat are the IPB, I love those.
