is there any way to run the apache command prompt window hidden?

If you want it hidden, run Apache as a service instead.

it says "You can install Apache as a Windows NT service as follows from the command prompt at the Apache bin subdirectory:"

There's no apache.exe in that folder? Google says there should be... :p

ok fixed it, the apache.exe file wasnt in bin, it was in the Apache root directory :dodgy:

I use a hideCMD application that someone in the forum create for me.. works pretty fine.

I think running it as a service works even better, i created a script that lets me stream music that is on my computer, my intention is to start the pc in the morning, connect to the net and listen to my music at school.

I tried that with Windows Media Encoder, but the proxy at my school wouldn't allow the connection :S. So i made an mp3 cd :P
