It would help if you knew how to do it in internet explorer aswell ... any help would be appreciated. I don't have an eBay account, he does, and he's going crazy for selling things, this is the only way to make him stop... RE: Website Restrictions by saralk on 01-22-2005 at 01:26 PM if you use a router you can block websites, but then you can't access them yourself. RE: Website Restrictions by user27089 on 01-22-2005 at 01:27 PM I don't want anyone to access eBay at all, I'm not using a router... RE: Website Restrictions by Plik on 01-22-2005 at 01:31 PM
Then you could edit you hosts file to point www.ebay.com to anouther address, that would stop anyone accessing ebay.com. RE: Website Restrictions by saralk on 01-22-2005 at 02:10 PM

You can get some basic internet filtering software in many computer shops, it doesn't need to be any of the expensive ones. McAfee do one that's a one off payment, no subscription and you can set it for appropriate filtering for ages, or just to filter only sites you don't want to access. Then you need a password to view it...it's main fault is that it can be disabled by ending the process, which many other internet filtering software products have safe guards against. So unless your brother is a complete n00b it is no good. RE: Website Restrictions by user27089 on 01-22-2005 at 03:00 PM
