Oh come on...you can't say you created it if you don't even know how it works :-/

Didn't you just say something like

And it's just pure coincidence that there are so many similar "mindreaders" around ?

It's simple :P, It's always the same :-P, not 425 of 500 :P, Then you must have calculated wrong...

Do it like this...

18 - 1 - 8 = 9, Now look at that symbol, then look diagonal, all the same symbols ;-)

And it's bad you stole it :-S

RE: Can anyone say how this is done by user27089 on 01-24-2005 at 08:27 PM

isn't it just that most people have the pointer over the certain squar when doing it... it prolly detects that the pointer is hovering there for ages or something... cause I got a dot... and thats not what I was thinking as far as I remember :^)...

RE: Can anyone say how this is done by saralk on 01-24-2005 at 08:32 PM

no its not, its because there are only a limited amount of numbers that can be made by doing this, so the script just puts the same character for those numbers.

Saralk's right.
If you watch it, every time you try it, the charactures and there numbers change.
And if you you watch a number like 27, that you get from 39-9-3, it will always have the character that the mind reader says.
RE: Can anyone say how this is done by TheBlasphemer on 01-24-2005 at 08:52 PM

Hmmm, if you substract the second number, you basicly round down to the lowest ten,
after that you substract one more, so basicly this are the only values you can get:
10 -> 9
20 -> 18
30 -> 27
40 -> 36
50 -> 45
60 -> 54
70 -> 63
80 -> 72
90 -> 81
(all multiples of 9 :P)
If you look closely, you will see that those numbers always have the same symbol, the other numbers that can not be obtained are simply there to distract you,
the program picks a symbol, puts it in all the predefined numbers, and fills the rest with bullshit. once you click the magic square, it displays the symbol it chose :)

It's probably just you making a mistake ;)
RE: Can anyone say how this is done by paperless on 01-24-2005 at 10:37 PM

it missed me.. my number was 99 :refuck:

RE: Can anyone say how this is done by Plik on 01-24-2005 at 10:43 PM

99 would be impossible to get :P

99 is the highest two digit number, therefore it would be impossible to get anything with that answer of 99 without using a three digit number. Which wasn’t allowed :dodgy:

John Anderton, how in the hell can you take a webpage that you have no idea how it works and add a line saying YOU made it? Is there something wrong with your brain or what?

RE: Can anyone say how this is done by John Anderton on 01-25-2005 at 06:35 AM

Hey i didnt mean to rip it. I found it like years ago when i knew nothing and that time i did all that for fun and i 4got to change it man. I had just done that for fun cause i was trying to find how it was doing it. So i had edited it a long time ago. I just 4 got to change it. Wait ill delete it.

RE: Can anyone say how this is done by andrey on 01-25-2005 at 06:03 PM

Now, as we just are on this topic of "stealing";
When I first visited your forum at sciontech.freefronthost.com/, John, I noticed that they have the rather strange name "Scion Technologies". I then got on Google, googled for Scion technologies and guess what, some sites came up, linking me to the url www.sciontechnologies.com/, which belongs to a company named Scion Technologies.
I'm not saying you "stole" that name on purpose, but I fear that using this name for your forum could violate their rights and could get you in quite some trouble.

8-)

:banana: algebra time! :banana:

where x and y are integers between 1 and 9:

stage 1 = 10x + y
stage 2 = 10x + y - 9x - y
stage 2 = 9x

Oh look!  All the multiples of 9 are the same icon!

isnt 10x + y - 9x - y = x, not 9x?
