Well I just went to check my email about 5 minutes ago and I saw this neat little feature that MSN just added. It prob explains why there was downtime all over the world on msn messenger.

Cool i'll try this tonight. It's very convenient. So they can't reply back to you..that sucks.

so, i can be offline on msn, but still send instant messages from hotmail?
cos i dont think i have that yet, that page didnt come up for me...

I did some testing, and if you have MSN Messenger on your computer it will start that up when you choose "instant message" from the "new" menu. So unless there's no MSN Messenger on your computer this feature is useless (well maybe when you are away from home where you don't have MSN but thats all).

They just integrated MSN WebMessenger into hotmail

oooh now i get it...i was wondering because when i clicked instant message, msn messenger would sign me in.
its a useless feature for people who have msn messenger, its alot like webmessenger like Markus said
