I think that this has been discused elsewhere, but I can no longer save my MSN convo's. It says something about an error. Please help.

Huh? In what ways you cant save your conversations? Can you please provide more details?
EDIT: Is it the Plus! logs that give you errors, or is the chat logs saved by MSN Messenger giving you errors?

Sure, sorry. A mssg comes up that says there was an error on line 3. Something about an unknown (i can't remember the exact words) character. And as a result the file can not be saved
And I can't save the actual convo's. The options seem to be fine

sounds like a Corrupt file, but hey i could be wrong ,, you do use MsgPlus yeah? what Logs do you use? ..MsgPlus Logs or the ones that comes with MSN Messenger ?

Oh...That problem.
You can just click the Ok button there, and if you have Plus! installed, the logs saved by it is perfectly fine.
It gives you the error because theres problems with the logs saved by MSN Messenger...

i was using both.....but i turned them both off.

You turn the one for Plus! on.
And turn off the one in the options menu of MSN Messenger...
EDIT: To make those logs saved by MSN Messenger to be readable again, try using this: http://www.jonathankay.com/scanxmllogs.aspx...

what i suggest is to Clean out cache/Cookies/History , saan or then Uninstall Plus, an redownload it, an reinstall

I dont think you need to do that though...Its just a bug in the beta version of MSN Messenger 7.0.
It does not require a reinstall of anything actually...

Problem solved. I just turned the one that MSN provides off, and kept the one from Plus. All is fixed, agiain thank-you all

Yes, it's due to Plus! special characters are not allowed in XML file format, which is used in MSN7. I'm not sure whether saving 'high' unicode characters behaves the same, but it's bug on Microsoft side. Is there any way how to get them know about it, or how can I as a user report any issues with beta MSN to Microsoft? (or isn't that the reason of beta versions to be published?)

I've been using this for a while, but I dont know whether this is the correct one for MSN Messenger 7.0 though...
Or, you can click Help>Send Feedback, but I dont think it works now...
