RE: animated desktop wallpaper? by Tasha on 01-30-2005 at 10:17 PM

I don't know if you can have an animated desktop wallpaper. You might have to get some sort of plug-in or program for windows. But wouldn't the animation drive you mad?

GIFs work fine, although I still don't understand why you'd want an animated wallpaper.

* Concord Dawn switches his wallpaper from the dancing banana.

RE: animated desktop wallpaper? by gif83 on 01-31-2005 at 12:40 AM

nice work... you gotta watch out for light source on centre section tho..
better off just wobbling the centre bit from frame to frame

RE: animated desktop wallpaper? by .blade// on 01-31-2005 at 03:18 AM

I saw a really cool wallpaper a while ago. It was an (aprox) 20mb file, but it was still cool :P

It slowly transforms between 3 images (so slowly you barely notice it).

Can't seem to find it back ATM :(
