I'm getting tired of free hosting so I'm going to buy it. I need preferably Canadian hosting because I live in Canada. But cheep American hosting will do. Any one have any good hosts they would like to share?

Oh and please no hosts in the UK, or Europ or Asia or well you get my point. :P Just Canada and America.


I also need PHP and MySQL

You should also put what your looking for the host to do. Such as PHP/MySQL support, etc.

And try Google, NOW IN CANADIAN EH??? :P:P

Good job Chaotic_Shield. I already tried that, alls i got was a bunch of crap hosts.

Ok I had to do some long and boring extreme Google searching and I found this http://www.canaca.com/index.html it’s all Canadian and the prices are excellent for what they offer. ( :o 20 gig for $5 per mounth with all the trimmings). The silver package looks nice. Tell me what you think.

my friend used dreamhost and i have had a page on hers. Very good support etc.

Location in Canada really isn't that important.  datalinks accross the American Continent are quite stable from Canada. www.eckohost.com has servers in Texas!  But all the hosts on here are useful.

i had canaca hosting.. and they are by far the worse.. you can just search "canaca reviews" on google..and you'll see its all negative. who can really offer 200 gigs of bandwidth for 4$ a month?.
their downtime is about 2-3 hours a day.. during peak hours.

I'm not big on canadian hosts but they are out there.  I know of an american host that I use and I am happy with it's http://ipower.com
