ok well while downloading some updates for PLAN (mortage broker program) my laptop just died like the power was cut out but i had the power cable in at the time , but the real problem is that when you boot up the xp loading screen never goes onto the next screen it just stays at the windows xp pro loading screen and when i boot up in safe mode it gives the following error (bsod)

booting up with the xp disk and trying to load the recovery console works but my xp account name is administrator with no password yet it asks me to log in and a password of nothing dosnt work
any ideas on what the password could be or what?

BLAHH gave up everything (including installing another copy of xp) failed so now im using the recover disks but i lost all the work
