i was wonderin if anyone knew of a plug-in that allows you to have multiple conversations in one window and you can tab between (possibly by pressing ctrl+tab)?

how to enable the tab convo feature in the new stuffplug?

contact list -> plus! -> preferences -> plugins -> select stuffplug ng ->configure

then just tick the boxes u want to enable

There is no option there to enable the tab function.  I am using the latest stuffplug ng 2.

I have tried, but still cannot  call out this feature. The instruction there seems quite vague. E.g, under which key should i put the value of "TabManager"?

can any one give some more specific instructions?

Uh... Those are the tabs in the contact list window.

And andrew and lietorob mean the tabbed conversations, which are not in StuffPlug-NG2.

Hmm,

Actually I have some very nice plugin code lying around to do this. Never cared to finish the plugin cause I was too lazy to make some nice graphics for the tabs and stuff like that.

mrhuge I don't mind about graphics I would love to use what you have made if it had a close tab feature. :)

It has a close tab feature actually. When you look at screenshot 2, you see the little close button on the right upper side of the convo window. Pressing this button will close the active tab.

However, I still have to put a little work in it to make it perfect. For example, I haven't implemented a flashing taskbar button yet.
