Foreign Language Bar by Tasha on 02-07-2005 at 06:07 PM

ok, so at the bottom of the convo window it says: Klik hier voor emoticons en themapakketten van Blue Mountain

Can someone help change that back into English? And don't suggest re-installing, I just have - 3 times.

Is there the language folder thing I replace with soemthing else? Or can someone give me something? Help!

EDIT: I have MSN7 installed.

EDIT2: Its alright, a friend helped me sort it. :)

It might just be a dodgy msn ad that went wrong with the language it chose.

Hmm, Vazza is experiencing same problems.

I suggest waiting till tomorrow and see if it's still the same...
If so, tell us what you recently installed that might have changed the languagesettings.

Can you tell here what was causing it and what was done to get it back to english? That way other users can benefit from it too ;)

Yea.. It's fixed now though. :p  Had to replace the msgslang.dll (or whatever it is called) with a newer version of it.

EDIT: This is what you do:

GET:
http://www.zero1inc.co.uk/msgslang.zip
Close MSN
Open C:\program files\msn messenger
Cut msgslang.dll and put it on the desktop
Copy the file in that zip archive into the directory
Start MSN
Delete the other msgslang which is on ur desktop.

Yea, but today, it is back at dutch, again.. :@ Despite what I did.

And no, M_E, reinstalling/repairing does not help. :(

It's the servers TashaJ, nothing you can do about it.

I also have some sort of problem with that. My MSN and everything else is dutch (winXP pro english) but that little bar at the bottom of a convo is dodgy french.
