Google offers step-by-step directions for traveling between two points. Clicking on one of the steps pops up a floating bubble containing a magnified view of the area. For the time being, however, Google Maps is limited to the United States and Canada.

RE: new google search by Ash_ on 02-09-2005 at 10:07 AM

yeh, there was some software for this out theere. not made by google. by it was so awesome. pity i cant remember the site.

anyway, it used like some satelitte or somthing if i remeber correctly.

you choose your place, and you could see everything, from people, it even worked out the angle of which hill's incline.

good idea though.

it's a good idea, but there's a lot to improve.. the searches are a bit vague imho.. well it's not 'graduated' yet, so I won't complain :D it's a good idea..nice to see google expanding its area of expertise yet again :D
