does it cost anything to become a beta tester for  msn messenger (BETA)?

No it doesnt. Just go to http://beta.microsoft.com and login, use the the GuestID "BetaReq" and go to the Potential Testers program.

but no way it asks you for your Address/telphone number y?

Edit: the adress is so you can get the beta software on a CD if you cant/wont download it.

Yes, at least thats what I think. I am a MSN Messenger Beta Tester and I did gave them that information.

Its all safe and secure, only microsoft can access that data, and if they release it at all, then you can sue them, so I wouldn't worry... You can fill everything in, and it will all be okay... They will not under any circumstances give it out...

Huh, I need Guest ID. How do I get it? I don't think that Microsoft sends Guest ID's to some discretionary people. Don't they?
