/biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-11-2005 at 10:00 PM

Hi ! I'd like to know if it would be possible to create my own talker like /biensur and /yeahright with my own words ??

For example : /yeah right answers automatically "of course" and I'd like it answers "Yes, I see what you mean..."

( /yeahright  and  /biensur (answers at your place by affirmative simple words ).

This won't be necessary when the new plus! comes out in march, but until then you can use the audiator, you can find that here:

http://www.msgplus.net/pluginsdb/down/?action=file&id=45

Note
Both you and the contact you are using the sounds on will need the audiator and the sound that you are using on them for this plugin to work.

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-11-2005 at 10:11 PM

Thanks but it's not exactly what I'm asking :$ ...
Do you know the /yeahright command ?
It's when you have a contact, and you don't want to talk to it, you type /yeahright and it automatically answers to the contact at each of it phrases with affirmative expressions like : of course, yes of course, yes, definitely....
Me, I want to do the same thing but with my own words : lol, are u sure ?......

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by Pr0xY on 02-11-2005 at 10:22 PM

Try using the quick text feature, and just make your own command.

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-11-2005 at 10:29 PM

The quick text feature....what is it ? Can you explain me please ?
And how ? Thank you so much !!

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by user27089 on 02-11-2005 at 10:29 PM

The command would be

code:
#1#/syeahright
#1#lol, are you sure

if I am understanding you correctly, if not, then can you be a little bit more clear about what you want to be able to do.
RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-11-2005 at 10:32 PM

yes but....;where have I to type this command ?

Oh yes it works thanks !!

But, the automatic messages are appearing according to the time you type.
I'd like it appears according to the number of message my contact typs....is it possible ?
RE: /biensur and /yeahright by user27089 on 02-11-2005 at 11:02 PM

I don't think that is possible yet I'm afraid, sorry that we couldn't be of any assistance to the exact thing you wanted, but i'm glad we could help in one way or another.

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-11-2005 at 11:06 PM

thank you...

Just another question ( sorry ) :

Is it possible to change the time a message I want to appears.
I mean, is it possible a message appears afer 9 seconds ?
Because if I type #10#hello, that doesn't work...
Is there another way to do that ?

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by TGG on 02-12-2005 at 08:05 PM

I think there is a way to add a delay in a quicktext, but i can't remember how at the moment

EDIT:
To add a delay, place #  the number # then your message

see http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=32...d=313412#pid313412 for more information

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-12-2005 at 08:06 PM

I hope you'll remind it soon  !!:)

Yes but you can't type more than 9 seconds !! I'd like to know if it's possible because it doesn't work when I type it
Does an biensur or yeahright file exists ?
Because it would be possible to edit the file, changing the expressions which are in.....
RE: /biensur and /yeahright by TGG on 02-12-2005 at 08:46 PM

Please you the edit button instead of double or triple posting :)

You could use a blank message every 9 seconds until you have reached your chosen time
i.e.
code:
#9#
#9#
#2#/me says hello

You will need to but a space after each #9#, so that it will work

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-12-2005 at 08:56 PM

Thanks...and my third question please :$ ??
A biensur or yeahrihgt file ?

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by TGG on 02-12-2005 at 08:59 PM

I don't think there is one, if there is i do not know where it is

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-15-2005 at 02:48 PM

When you are away, you can have a message which appears to the contacts when they open your window.
It answers after each sentence of your contact.
Example :

-Hi !
-I'm not here at the moment...
-^o)
-Do you understand ?
-yes...
- NOT HERE AT THE MOMENT

And the code lools like that :

I'm not here at the moment...
#Do you understand ?
#NOT HERE AT THE MOMENT

So I thought the # could allow to have an automatic answer after each sentence of the contact but........
All are appearing one after one, all the 0.5 s...WHY ?

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by Plik on 02-15-2005 at 04:19 PM

You can use pluses personalised statuses for that
http://msgplus.net/help_tutorials.php?tut=personalised-status

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by TGG on 02-15-2005 at 04:21 PM

I tried it as you said, and it worked for me.

If you enter it as

code:
I'm not here at the moment
#Do you understand?
#Not here at the moment!
then it should display each message after the other person has said something.
RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-15-2005 at 08:19 PM

yes but : <your pseudo> auto-message: .........
appears. And it's written in a different font.....
I'd like it works in a normal conversation, like /biensur and /yeahright....I'm sure it's possible !!

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by TGG on 02-15-2005 at 08:36 PM

To do that you will have to make a plugin that replys when something is said.

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-16-2005 at 11:09 AM

To make a plugin.....How ? Is it easy to make one like this ?

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by TGG on 02-16-2005 at 11:21 AM

To make a plugin you need to know a programming language, usually c++ or VB.  See http://www.msgplus.net/help_plugins.php for more information about the Plus API

RE: /biensur and /yeahright by vivelafrance on 02-16-2005 at 11:42 AM

Ok....I'm going to try :S

-----------------------------------

Too hard for me... Does anybody know about programming and could try to do it for me please ??:$
