geforce cards come with a duelmonitor program and it allows you to make wallpapers and stuff. quote: most new graphic cards are duel head (or more) which allows you to plug in more than one screen at the same time. but i also think well im pretty sure i read somewhere that you can achive the same thing with two graphic cards in your comp. My ATI's Hydravision tool is supposed to have it somewhere, but i cant find it. RE: Multi Desktop Wallpapers by Guido on 02-12-2005 at 04:04 PM
Windows (ME or 2000 onwards IIRC) has dual monitor support built-in, you don't need any particular card. You do need a card with DVI + VGA or 2 DVI or 2 VGA ports, or two video cards installed, so as to be able to connect both monitors. RE: Multi Desktop Wallpapers by Pr0xY on 02-12-2005 at 10:01 PM What about if I'm using a laptop? Has Windows 2000 on it, and my video card is a "ATI Technologies Inc. RAGE P/M Mobility AGP 2X" RE: Multi Desktop Wallpapers by Guido on 02-12-2005 at 11:35 PM Just connect any monitor to the VGA port and it will (should) work as a second monitor. (or you should be able to set it up from Display Preferences). RE: Multi Desktop Wallpapers by Kryptonate on 02-12-2005 at 11:38 PM the program looks very nice Guido , thanks for the link.
