like in my site i want people to be able to see what a folder contains like this one : http://www.johny.web.pt/neowinreviews/
but all it shows is this error... :

Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

Is this my webprovider choice or can i change it?

Hmm... Microsoft-IIS/6.0 :dodgy:

If it was Apache, you might be able to use a .htaccess file. :-/ Do you have some sort of control panel? There might be an option if you look hard enough...

no...i dont really know how to run servers and so on...i just upload stuff to it by WS_FTP......i have no options like that....i've loged in the website provider and no options like that...

What's so strange about that. Many free and cheap hosting solutions come without a config panel.

You should do this so that you can choose what to exclude (if you want to exclude anything). You should try finding a better host, try searching on Google or try Freewebspace.net.

Good solutions if you don't add/remove/rename files which are located there much anyway. There are actually programs which do this for you in less then a second. I've used DIR2HTML a few times. Use this program before you upload your files, it will then generate the HTML files and you can upload those along with your other files.

Name the file DIR2HTML generates index.htm and save it in the same folder as where you have the other files you want to upload to your site.
