Away message problems??? by haydos on 02-15-2005 at 10:18 AM

ok i entered this as the code for my away message

code:
im away shhhhh
#im warning you if you talk to me you will be blocked
#you have three chances to be quiet
#two chances
#one more and your blocked
#/block

i then logged on to another account on the same computer (i realise this may be the problem) and started talking to the away person to try it out.

Problem 1: the sound came before the reply... pshhhht im not fussed with this, just being fussy

Problem 2: all parts of the message worked out fine until i got to the blocked bit, it would not block and i got the following message (in the first account)

^^^^ hope you all understand this :S

Accroding to your screenshot, it appears that you may have attached a line-break after the /block command, so it doesn't work. Perhaps you can double-check this ;)

You could try changing it to
code:
#/block (!N)
Might work, but didn't test anything. It can also very well be that fact you're signed it with two accounts like you said, Plus! doesn't offer any official support for that. Exit your second instance and let somebody else message you on the first instance with the away message enabled. See if it works then.
