I don't know if this was posted before but... I use custom names, but once in a while the names change to the person's e-mail and i can't change it back, the only way is to restart MSN :( Any way to fix it?

no, it changes like after 30 minutes of using AUTOMATICLY! Otherwise i wouldn't post it in bug reports :dodgy:

Does your status also change to away at the same time, this may be causing it

I get this problem as well. When MSN starts, all the custom names are fine but then after a while some will change to the email address. If i minimize the main window and then restore it, different names will be changed to the email.

Im also using:

MSN 7.0.425

msg plus 3.40.112

Yay, now there is more priority to fix it :D

It usually doesn't happen to me if i minimize it right away after starting it

This bug is supposed to be fixed in Messenger Plus! 3.50, you'll have to wait until next month to get it :).

Out of curiosity. The people who are experiencing this problem have you guys by anychance used any programs to Patch the Messenger exe? In other words prorams that will hide the banner or remove the Click here to customize messenger and or the MSN Today link on the contact list window?

If so then that is the reason why. You can either reinstall MSN Messenger or wait for Plus! ;)

Yes, all I could find, and skins, but it happened before i installed them :dodgy:

Why would other programs have effect on Plus!?
