Help! by Erik on 02-25-2005 at 06:19 PM

I have installed Messenger Plus, but when i open my msn,  there's a popup that says there's a program that doesn't work well, and that i should look it up and delete it, but how am I ever gonna find such a program?

Could you post a screenshot of exactly what comes up? I don't quite understand what you mean?

RE: Help! by Erik on 02-25-2005 at 06:37 PM

ok this is it:

MSN Messenger or Windows Messenger is currently running without Messenger plus! added functionalities. This generally happens when another program installed on a system behaves incorrectly. Such kind of program prevents other software from running properly too, not only messenger plus!.

The best thing to do, if you can, is try to find out what program is causing the interferences and upgrade it (or uninstall it). Messenger Plus!is built to resist that kind of issue, please select the action you want to be perfromed to correct the situation.

- Repair and restart Messenger (reccommended).

- Repair and try to fix permanently when computer starts

- Stop displaying this window

Have you picked this option and seen if it repairs it?

Could you hold down Ctrl+Alt+Delete, click on Processes and tell us everything listed please? Most preferably when that message is displayed

Are you running Windows 98 or ME? If so just read what you have in that window. If you not running 98 or ME then double click on the border and it will show the tabs.
