File Transfer Plus (ftp) Question by Supersonicdarky on 02-28-2005 at 09:25 PM

I have release 1.1 and when ever i send something 2 someone they can't see it :(
It says it's waiting for connection but nothing is happening, anyway to fix it?

(I have no idea if this bug/problem has been mentioned before)

I use MSN 7 beta (official) and MSN Plus! 3.40

Does Gmail accept ZIP files?

You guys should be looking here...

Have you double (and triple!!) checked your Firewalls aren't getting in the way of FT+ ??

I've had "awaiting connections" problems myself and found out after much testing it was my Firewall (even though with older builds of FT+ the Firewall hadn't interfered?)

Never the less it's well worth getting up and running, it's a hell of a plugin!!

Post your problems at the above link and I'm sure you'll get more assistance?

Last i checked NO
Even hotmail (The 250 mb one i have) allows 10 mb. Gmail didnt allow me to send an exe either so i zipped then split it. I sent the parts in 3 files of 1.36 mb :P
Or what u can do ssd is get a free host then upload it and tell ur pal do download it again but its better u stick to the email attatchment method :P For Many reasons

Zip are not allowed i think. U need to have any other format. Rar will apparently do as u stated

lol John your posts don't make sense, in your first one you state it wouldn't let you send an .exe so you ZIPPED it, then your next post you say u can't send .zip files :dodgy:
