my mates mouse and keyboard do not work. he is am currently using a usb mouse and keyboard but he cannot use the PS/2 slots....why is this? how can he fix it.

Doesnt Work.... im on the fone tryna help him now. i dont think its got any power. because none of the caps lock num lock and scroll lock lights glow

Try to plug it into a different USB port.

his keyboard didnt have any power in it. and it was working. he thought it was his pc's PS/2 slot but turns out its his keyboard. thanks anyway...
gonna slap him next time i see the boy. lololol

my mate had an ancient computer that didnt have em. had an adaptore was some plug bout 1.5cm wide, lol, that pc was the worst thing i've ever seen tho

Are the devices plugged into the write ports? PS/2 ports are non interchangable. I doub't the ports are fried try another keyboard and or Mouse.

well is the card from behind hooked to the mother board probably cz somtimes it might be loose. is the card shaking or sth?

no. it was jus the keyboard and mouse were f*cked. thats why he thought it was the pc because the mouse and keyboard had gone. it hadnt been used for years....but when the new keyboard was pluged in it worked...
