For some of my contacts i selected the option to get notifications when they change their name.

I have noticed that it doesnt always work. For example, if one of my contacts changed name from john to johnny the notification will say

Johnny changed his/her name to Johnny

It should say John changed his/her name to Johnny

This bug might very well be fixed in the next version ;)

yes i think i have noticed this myself but until now never really thought much of it. i do hope this has been fixed in new version.

yeh, it's strange because i'm like, it says they changed their name... but the toast says it hasn't :P

it should take the previous name, unless there is a problem getting the previous name...

Fixed as of when?
Because i was still getting the error about 13hrs ago (havnt seen a name change notification since then though)

oh :( i thought Matty meant it was fixed now....... oh well no big deal, im sure i can live with the name changing notifications being a bit buggy

glad to hear that 3.50 fixes this problem
