I think that when you are viewing somebodies profile, there should be a button which allows you to add them to your buddy list, that you use when sending private messages...

Maybe below the Private Message line?

I use it, and if this was there, then I'm sure people would use it more, its a bit of hastle to add the names yourself...

To answer questions, dz, possible a table somewhere, like 'view reputation' button, do it similar to that.

Lee Jeffery, if you already have them, have something like:

This Person is Already on Your Buddy List

Yes great idea Traxor.. Maybe if this option was enabled i might start using the private messaging system more frequently like you said.
