Which e-mail client do you use? by Menthix on 03-08-2005 at 01:59 PM

I am wondering what email clients are most used by Messenger Plus! users...

I want to know because i'm working on some tutorials for Messenger Plus!, including the POP3 mailcheck feature and stuff.

You can vote for multiple items when you use more then one mail client. Only vote for the ones you really use, so don't vote for GMail when you have like 100 invites but almost never use your GMail adress.

EDIT: I personally use Becky, not much people know it, but i really like it, but i think i'll change to Outlook soon because i can synchronize Outlook's calendar with my mobile phone :).

Well, to check my old hotmail account I go to the hotmail website.. And I use Gmail Notifier, so I voted for Gmail and Hotmail Web thingy. :P

Don't you need to pay to use hotmail with an email client? :|

Or it logins to hotmail with http and then parse the html and get the emails? :P

Ditto!

I also use Hotmail, GMail and Yahoo! webmail, because I don't have all accounts on the client, only the special ones. :P

Heh :), well the real reason for this poll is to figure out on which clients i should base the "Where can i find my POP3 settings?" tutorial. Thunderbird users are l33t, l33t ppl don't need tutorials :p.

Untrue. I know many less computer literate users who use Firefox, a lot of the lesser computer able users are switching to Firefox and as a consequence [b]Thunderbird[b/]...

I used Opera's M2, because it is awesome, its a lot like gmail, but as software, i also stress that M2 has been around for way longer then Gmail.

I USED to use Outlook, but the Gmail default interface is really good so...

RE: Which e-mail client do you use? by jren207 on 03-08-2005 at 11:47 PM

I use Hotmail webmail the most, then sometimes my Gmail account, then a little of my Yahoo! account but not alot of Yahoo!. I sometimes use Outlook (2003) for checking them all in one place.

RE: Which e-mail client do you use? by Vazza on 03-08-2005 at 11:57 PM

I use outlook express for my primary email account and my signy up hotmail account. Then webmail hotmail for the backup account. Then I use Lycos webmail (although you can now have lycos in outlook/outlook express now too) for site mail.
