I forgot my password, i protected my messager plus logbook with a password, but can't remember it anymore, is there any way to recover this password with a tool or something els?? please help!

If you mean plus encypted logs then sorry but its impossibledue to the fact that plus encrypts the logs using the password, therefore it is impossable to decrypt them with out the password.

surely someone could make some sort of ridiculously complicated code breaking program....but it would be painful lol

actually does message plus not store the password somewhere, otherwise how does it know how to encrypt the files?

how's the password encrypted though? could that not be decrypted?
sorry I'm just trying to think logically here, I'm not even sure making such a tool would be a good idea, as it is in essence a password stealer and could be used maliciously, although on the other hand it could be useful like in the above example

could be completely wrong, but is it not stored encrypted in the registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\MsgPlus2\(useremail)\Preferences\LogEncryptiondataEx
?
Just done a quick regmon and it's the key that changes when you change your log password

It's impossible recover the lost passwords to login into MessengerPlus settings and logs ?

Yes, it's impossible to get them back. I think MsgPlus! could have a Windows XP similar feature, something to make you remember the password.

I don't think it's impossible, just very hard imo,
I mean if you used a debugger and figured out how msgplus encrypted the password, surely you could take the encrypted password and step backwards with it decrypting it, although this is most likely beyond my capabilities lol.

you can't decrypt plus chat logs, iirc it uses the windows encrpytion API, so if you want to get it decrypted, you would have to ask microsoft, i guess
