On this page -->http://shoutbox.menthix.net/statistics.php?page=week
we have a counter showing the no. of posts for last week by individuals ....
Is that including t&t or without it ^o)

There used to be a bug that let that happen, and their post counters were never updated after the bug was fixed.

:O Ok i get it :) I see the prob now :) Thx

In the member ages thread ....... (Link Here) It sayz
quote:
17 (Born in 1988)
18 (Born in 1987)
I am 17 and my bday is next month. I was born in 87 .... so which group am i counted in cause i am 17 and born in 87 :undecided:
So in short does that count the ppl born in the year or according to the b'day that year ?
RE: Stats counter by WDZ on 03-19-2005 at 10:01 PM

It's the year that matters. The age is just sort of a guess. :p

RE: Stats counter by blackjack on 03-19-2005 at 10:08 PM

if you are from 1987 and have 17 your next bday is 18 thats why it says 18 instead of 17, its the age your going to have, not currently :p

sorry iif i have bad english, im from Mexico (H)

But my b'day aint over yet so i am still 17 :undecided:
Cant we change it :undecided: I know a lot of coding and it'll have to change regularly but c'mon wdz :P
* John Anderton knows it wont happen but tht it was worth a shot :P
Also the forum has a calendar ... i know it doesnt show b'days on the index page (cause every day there are 10 - 15 bdayz :P) but what about if a person is on your buddy list ??? I guess it aint there yet but can that be included. If it wont be in reality just tell me wether it is actually possible (memory wise, code wise etc.)

It's much faster to just count years than to calculate the age of every single user who has entered a birthdate. I like my stats scripts to be as fast/efficient as possible. :p

Anyway, I think the results would be about the same no matter what method is used, right? :-/ The results are all that matter.
