Maybe you downloaded the wrong version...

Get msgplus 3.50 from here http://www.msgplus.net/download.php

By pressing 'Prnt Scrn' on your keyboard, then paste it into paint and save it...

when it askes do i save or run?

RE: In stalled but no change by Smethead on 03-19-2005 at 02:09 PM

You run, but Plus! doesn't change the looks of msn or whatever, it adds more options. You can see what Plus! can do here: http://www.msgplus.net/features_all.php

Either one, i prefer to save mine though just incase i stuff up the install or i wanna send the file to my friends...

Just make sure when you save it, you remember where you're putting it, because you're going to need to access it later...

All Messenger Plus! does is add the Plus! menu and a Plus! icon to your contactlist. And of course many new funktions, but it's not a whole new Messenger cient.

Download the latest version at http://www.msgplus.net/download.php and if you see the Plus! menu, it's been installed successfully.

which upgrades do give the whole thing a new apperance?

RE: In stalled but no change by mwe99 on 03-19-2005 at 02:15 PM

Yeah MsgPlus! doesn't actually change the appearance of MSN, just add's on a few more great features... if you still want to change your MSN Messenger you could install a skin :)

Good post there ^^

If you mean skins, you might check out mess.be and search for skins. Plus! itself doesn't change the appearance, neither does any plugin for Plus!

on another computer, i upgraded the msn messenger and it changed the background so it looked better and had more options down the side. i've forgotten how to do it, any help?

RE: In stalled but no change by Smethead on 03-19-2005 at 02:22 PM

You probably just downloaded a newer version of MSN Messenger ( http://messenger.msn.com ) or the MSN Messenger 7.0 Beta ( http://messenger.msn.com/beta/ ).

You mean changing the background file and using tabserve? to add the new options down the sides ( i presume you mean tabs )
