Hey, was just wondering when the new vertion of MyBB comes out if they were going to upgrade the MsgPlus! forum. Just wondering cuz it's still runing or RC2. *-)

I probably will, but it will take a couple months of work, so don't expect anything immediate... :p

Does anyone know when Gold will be released? I don't read the MyBB forums much anymore...

It would be nice to have features like RSS syndication which is already available in current myBBs. It would be useful to provide an XML feed at msgplus.net for updates (pulled actually from the news forum).

snake its makes it very hard to upgrade a forum like this it is very modified and unique would be good to update though if wdz stoped being so lazy :P

I don't think RSS is dodgy... I love it and use it all the time... just not on this board. :refuck:

I just have some security concerns/paranoia. I'll keep the RSS feature if I don't find any issues with it, or maybe I'll modify it somewhat... we'll see...

In other words we're going to see DZBB Gold. :P You should change the signature at the bottom of the site to say Powered by WDZBulletinBoard. :P

Ya this site is awesome. Dz has done a gr8 job with it.  Im surprised this isnt a new copy of mybb :P the dz version ;) J/k
I am guessing know he has done a whole lot of work on it.
It'll prolly take a few weeks to do it again if he works non stop but some ppl say he is lazy so u never know :P

myBB Gold is currently in Beta Testing stage and soon it will go into the next stage of testing, which is the Beta Testers getting copies of Gold to test on their own sites and then after that its public release time.

i dont think there is a date range atm, as Chris has been busy with some other stuff.  It'll be released when its ready.

I'd rather wait and have it finsihed than it be rushed to get it out quicker

Wtf? It says on the MyBB site that all the hacks listed there are third party.

1. I pasted that link for information regarding the copyright notice.

2. Decompile/Reverse Engineer all relate to code being lifted from MyBB in to other products.

3. Modifications/Hacks are allowed as stated by the license. What it means is you can't release your own version of MyBB. Hacks are third party.
