Search Engines? by The_Thief on 03-24-2005 at 08:58 PM

Can anyone suggest any good search engine submission software or a site where I can submit my search engine to MULTIPLE search engines at once?

They are usually a waste of time tbh.

Your best just submitting it to dmoz, because that is where most search engines get their data from

Nah, don't want that weekly newsletter :S

Google bot and Yahoo bot already crawled my website anyway :D

RE: Search Engines? by Chestah on 03-24-2005 at 11:35 PM

Isn't it hard to do this anymore? because when you sign up for submission to a search engine they make you read the picture and type in what it says so it prevents bots from mass adding websites? :P

RE: Search Engines? by .Roy on 03-25-2005 at 06:33 AM

I dought they do it for these kind of things. Because google would probobly want as much people to sign up to them and stuff like that. Then all these multiple submission companies will go broke :P

But im not sure if they do it, but if they do then i think these multiple submission things shouldnt even work

You dont ask them to find you , they find you by themselves. otherwise what would be the point in search engines if you had to always ask them to index you , just give it time all search engines will find you.
