Its probably a regional issue but primark isn't really either because if you pronounce it prymark (which it is closer to) it gives a longer sound on the 'y'. It's more like priemark (prie rhymes with pie) look in a dictionary, aren't there phonetics for each word?

Even though i don't know what Primark is, i say it's pronounced Prymark. Hence there's an i not an e (providing you spelled it correctly)

Preemark

I think it must be a dialect thing though because people here in scotland all say Preemark (If you want I'll provide an audio of me saying it. Theres an offer you could refuse )

I have a mate originally from newcastle who says prymark so it is definately random.
