Next Release Suggestion by Max on 03-30-2005 at 03:09 PM

As MSN Messenger 7 Final will be released in the near future, I expect that there will be another release of Plus! In the latest Beta Builds is a feature called Personal Message which I am sure Patchou is aware of.

Messenger Plus! already has a Personalised Status feature. my suggestion is that the feature is kept but slightly modified to work with the Personal Message feature, displaying the Personalised Status where the Peronal Message would be.

Would this be possible?

Simply, why not? MSN Messenger features are changing. Why can't Plus! do the same?

Simply put, there is a 129 character limit for the Personal Status Message built into MSN Messenger. It does not allow chariage returns (new line) and it would just look overall gody (ugly).

Good idea but limitations would hold him back.

Thanks. I understand that it is not possible now, but I thought it might have been a nifty feature.

(P.S: Yes, I used the word Nifty.)

Why not have a feature that lets you have your personal message changed when you change your status automatically.

That was the general idea for the new feature I suggested.
