I read in the newspaper, microsoft was obligated to change the windows xp name in europe after the WMP affair...First they Suggested "Windows XP Reduced(:lol:)" wich was rejected and now this one was accepted...

Blah...just giving the notice :cheesy:

Yes its quite old and you are quite wrong.
They didnt change the Windows XP name, they made a new version of Windows XP, which name is Windows XP N, the only difference is that Windows Media Player is not installed by default
You can still buy the "normal" Win XP.
BTW, the price is the same

So what? WMP is free to get off of Windows Update.

yeah this news is old. and just so you know no manufacturers are installing N on their systems because they dont want to give their customers less for the same money. also it would mean that if you didnt have internet access you would be screwed.
