RE: samsung's web ad... must-see... by qune on 04-08-2005 at 09:06 AM

which makes this ad even more stunning is how the two absolutely separate and independent movieclips communicate with eachother... never seen this before...

RE: samsung's web ad... must-see... by Pyroteq on 04-08-2005 at 09:45 AM

Would be nice if it worked, I really want to see this based on your reactions
Does bugger all in Firefox
In IE After i click launch nothing happens..

Maybe someone could steal that clip and post it off-site for people to download seeing as a few are having trouble

RE: samsung's web ad... must-see... by -dt- on 04-08-2005 at 10:24 AM

:O thats some crazy scripting , its a fair good effect though.

* -dt- wonders how much samsung paid for that =/

RE: samsung's web ad... must-see... by Hank on 04-08-2005 at 10:32 AM

shame its a Pop-Upp ,, but looked ok :)

RE: samsung's web ad... must-see... by rav0 on 04-08-2005 at 11:01 AM

meh, just says loading for me after i got it past my ad and popup blocker. Not too worried about seeing it though.

On a side note, a bit of javascript will let you move, resize, raise and lower windows, as well as send links to other windows.

Some small flaws i found on the start page,

  • The launch button doesn't actually launch the popup, it just links to the start page that it is on, in the hope the loading the start page will auto-open the popup. If it actually directly triggered the popup, most ad blockers would let it open.
  • It tells you to have the Flash MX plugin. No such plugin exists. If the advert was created using Flash MX, the user will need the Flash Player 6 plugin or ActiveX control (IE).
