Create a new partition from a specific folder by Fredzz on 04-09-2005 at 09:44 PM

Ok here's why i would like to do this! I have an 80GB HD, and it only has 4 or 5gb free. and My Documents folder has like lets say 50GB. But i want to reinstall windows and format everything, but i dont want to backup all my documents, so i would like to move my 50gb to a new partition!

But the normal way, you have to have  that space free in your HD to actually create a partition. Isnt there a way to "Create a partition from that specific folder" ? So that I, with 5gb could actually move my 50Gb folder to a new partition, and then format C: along with windows.. reinstall windows and still have the new partition? :S
