what program do you use to burn dvd backups?

i have these but they seem not to reconize my dvd burner:

Roxio Easy Media Creator

Nero Express

Alcohol 120%

try this free software program called DVD Shrink... it shrinks dvds to fit on burnables, then uses Nero to burn them to burnables. You may need the full version of nero though to burn them, or at least the trial. (If you dont have it then you will just be able to make ISO files with it)

google for dvdshrink very good, gets all menus and can compress DVD9 to DVD-R or DVD+r (Y)

my dvdshrink decrypts compressess and burns the files itself, i dont need to use nero:S

dvdshrink will only burn the dvds for you if nero is installed and working.

fair enough:P i had nero before so i didnt have to set anything up.....it just burned the disc straight away:)

no that's not what i mean.
i have a shit load of data such as music, programs and things like that and i wanna burn it to multiple dvd's and i have these programs but they are not reconizing my dvd burner

these are  the programs that i have:

Roxio Easy Media Creator
Nero Express 6.0
Alcohol 120%

and i wanna know how can i burn my data with one of those programs.

here is a picture of the cd drives listed in Nero Express. my dvd burner in not listed

I see... Make sure you installed your cd burner, as well as any dvd player software it came with and see if it recognizes it then.

ya i can see all my drives in my computer but in all the programs that i listed i cannot see the dvd burner only the cd-burner.

EDIT: problem solved i just had to re install the drivers for the dvd burner and re install Nero.
